It is fans like you guys that have made Prince move his concerts to a more sophisticated venue, the fans at those stadiums paying those cheap prices and getting messed up is so far behind him now, drunks and junkies aren't gonna pay $300.00 for a ticket when they can get high instead!

I quit drinking a couple years ago so sober now BUT... even when I was drinking I always prefered to not drink at Prince shows, it just seemed to be the way to see him. His whole vibe was exiting enough for me that I never felt like I needed alcohol, plus I didn't want to have to go to the bathroom and yes, I wanted to remember every bit!

I've only been drunk once at a concert and that was when my girlfriend dragged me to see Take That - unfortunately i still remember some of it!!!!

However I saw Prince at the Apollo and the girl in fromt of me was out of her head and ruined my night through her incessant screaming and drunken loutish behaviour.

Have a drink, get merry, enjoy yourself but be mindful of others who have paid good money to see their idol which may be a once in a lifetime opportnity!
