Actually, I was drinking last night and when I went to sleep I had a dream that we'd received better tickets for the O2 gig than the seats we've actually got. We took our seats right by the stage and waited and waited and, yep, I woke up before the dream concert started. Damn Prince, he can't even show up on time in a dream.

Better sober because if you're drunk you might forget somethings you've seen and you surely will have to go to the bathroom, that's a good waste of money and Prince ain't cheap!

having never seen Prince, i want 2 no why would u want 2 b drunk- wouldnt that spoil the experience?

For most concerts, I like to have a few before.....but with Prince I dont need it + I dont wanna go to the bathroom

I hate when people come to concerts and get wasted. I think it's stupid. I have been to shows where girls are in the bathroom throwing up, or have to be held up by their friends. What the hell is the point?! Stay home, put on the CD or a DVD, and pass out.

How about a comfortable buzz? You (or at least I) can drink without getting drunk. When you leave the concert, you can go have a few more if you want to continue the party. Of course, there may be an aftershow, which is a good reason to pace yourself.

My experience at Prince concerts is that the show is sobering. I may have a good buzz when he starts but midway through the show I am so high off the music that the other buzz is totally secondary.

Go and drink but as always, do not be obnoxious - sober or drunk.

And for those who do not drink, please do not assume that if one drinks they automatically throw up or will be obnoxious. Some of the biggest jerks I ever met have been stone cold sober.

I was absolutley tonked at his after show in the spirit nightclub in Dublin about 5 years ago( one night alone tour). Right up at the front wavin me jack daniels to a Love Bizzare. One of the best nights of my life. To counter that however i have enjoyed his gigs even more drop dead sober!

I wouldn't ever want to be drunk at a Prince concert. I've been pretty buzzed a couple of times, but never drunk. His concerts are always so god damn loud almost on the verge of being unpleasant that I wouldn't want to be dunk on top of that.

Last time I saw Prince live, I had two bottles of vodka and five lines of ketamine before I left the house and then had a bottle of tequila on the train as well as smoking three rocks of crack cocaine whilst eating eight small hash cakes. I then smoked some salvia dinorum on the way to the gig, whilst injecting myself with pure heroin at the same time. Next time, I won't restrain myself so much.

The last time I saw Prince was on the "Musicology Tour" back in 2004 and I was a little tipsy but I think that only made the show more enjoyable for me because I had no inhibitions at all. However, I wouldn't want to be completely drunk at a P concert because i'm afraid that later on i'd be unable to remember most of the concert .

umm...no comment...why get drunk 2 c Prince?? i've seen many drunk patrons at Club 3121 in Las Vegas a couple of months ago acting like fools pushing everybody around and inconsiderate of others.
