God.
The original was pretty bad. At least he *plays* the guitar on this version. But of course, the lyrics are horrid and the best guitar playing on the cut is at the END. If you're gonna talk about how much you love your guitar, SHOW it, don't tell it. He's a much better songwriter and player than this. And I love P...

I just listened 2 the new version of guitar and I had visions of the studio version of "FURY". The new versions "guitar" parts are cool , but the vocals are horrible ! The original versions flirty style vocals are way better than the new version. It sounds as if Prince is trying to hard to be cool on the new version and it's just not working. Isn't there somebody who can tell him that he has a good song on his hands , but needs to perfect the "official" version that will be released to the public. Same goes for "FURY". Excellent song live , horrible version on the "official" released record. Maybe Prince should just release live recordings of all his new songs !?! | |
