wait...in another thread she said she was sixteen....hmmm
if she's 16 and cute...she's in! send a tape! LOL biggrin

<--- wonders by what criteria a 16-year-old would consider herself a "decent songwriter"

self confidence...it's a good thing.
"not a fan" falloff yeah...ok

Okay say I am a decent song writer and I have a couple of things to show him...how would I go about it without pissing him off or getting his nerves?
what is the likely hood of him caring or being interested?

come on you 3121 spies tell me tell me tell me!!!

cool The only way he might listen or hear any of your stuff is.... if you play in his band. Or you know someone who does. I remember reading a story a few years ago, someone either threw or put a tape of a song they made on the stage at one of his shows. When he saw it he told his people to remove it off the stage right away. He had no interest at all of listening to it. This story i do believe...more than one person who attended that show reported the same incident.

No offense, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't give a rat's ass about your song, so there's really no point in trying to send it to him.

Maybe if she puts out wink. Remember, Prince has committed Kim Basinger, Carmen Electra and Appolonia to disc.

No offense, but what do you need to give it to Prince for, whether or not by some miracle he'd be interested in hearing it? There are numerous legal reasons why he would be unwise to do so. Aside from legal reasons, he's something of a wanker, anyway.

If you're good enough at songwriting, you'll make it without him. If you're not, find a dayjob. Appreciate Prince for what he is - creator of a great catalog of songs and a talented live performer...not your potential ticket to fame and fortune.

Regardless, good luck! biggrin

You should forget about it. It has nothing to do with your abilities as a songwriter, Prince just isn't the type of guy who'd give a fuck about fan-made demos 'n' stuff.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I want to surpass that prude little cunt. So, if I were you, "I'd Teena Marie-ize" myself if I was a female guitar player. Instead, I am going more for the "Steve Vai-ish" type of ethics for surpassing the jerkoff that is "Prince".

I CAN NOT BELIEVE I clicked on this and missed an orger say.....

Why should he do your stupid music, he's been getting along just fine without it. Next thing you'll be wanting to borrow his motorcycle.

He won't listen to it... he will probably just roll over it with his motorcycle.

You used to be able to depend on someone to say some shit like that.
