If Prince started thinking about what kind of message his images r sending 2 people, especially the young & impressionable, half as much as he thought about taking lyrics such as 'cross' and some mild curse words out of his songs, he may b taken a little more seriously. He reeks double standards.
An almost 50 year old man dressing like that 4 any reason, is just absurd. I've only seen fags dressed like that at rave parties, and the only thing worse than that was seein them dancin round on each others shoulders wearin nothin but diapers and suckin on a big ol' pacifier/dummy. So many people here going on and on about the "corset"- WHY??? When we- the org- first saw the picture months ago it took a few minutes for anyone to notice what he was wearing. Do you really think the average person seeing the album, CD size on a store shelf will notice that??? Maybe once they've bought it, but I highly doubt it will stop anyone from buying the album or make them think differently about the material on it (as long as it's good).
Point is he looks GOOD, period. The colors are cool and I think this will be his best cover in awhile. Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"
