I picked this up at the swap meet yesterday

4 copies



they were a dollar each.
all copies still sealed.
when I first saw them,I thought they were the cd's.
then I remembered how mine was packaged.
which brings me to my question..
which of "P's" albums do you have in longbox?

I have a few more,but it would take some digging to find them.
when I do I'll post them

i chopped up all my longboxes so i could tack them to my bedroom wall - i had parade, SOTT, lovesexy, and i think i had a cassingle longbox or two...i seem to remember having one for 'u got the look'. i'm sure i still have the remains packed away in a box somewhere, but yeah. all my longboxes were never long for this world once i got my mitts on 'em.

is that considered a longbox? i mean, i guess it's long and it's a box. i always figured box sets were a different animal...though that album really didn't need to be a box set. it could have been in one of those 3CD thingers or in a special digipack. i think the box set packaging was to bulk up the retail price (ok, i have a gift for the obvious, sue me )

I have the Symbol album in a longbox.

I didn't understand how longboxes worked, and I opened it at the top

Plus there was lots of cutouts in the sides. Now it just looks fugly. Oh well. It was only £4.

I have all of the longboxes...still sealed as well. Except for Purple Rain which was the first one i got and had to open. Have been thinking about e-baying them for awhile now. The Dirty Mind and Controversy one's were always my faves. I also got the Carmen Electra CD longbox, The Time Ice Cream Castles, and the special foldout Around The World. I had Vanity 6 but sold it for heaps a couple of years back...(-:

I didn't keep it though
after I got my hands on the jewel case inside
in the trash it went
I didn't think it was a big deal
I felt they would keep making
the long boxes forever ROTFL
