I actually recorded these CDS for my own pleasure. I got the idea to rework SOTT from a music magazine article where the author proposes reworking classic albums with b-sides or other material from that era.

SOTT is great as is, so I hope nobody freaks out. This was all in good fun.
I used songs from the orginal SOTT, the aborted Dream Factory and Crystal Ball projects, and the Black Album, since all of this, in theory, would have been available at the time.

I took it from the author of the article that Joy in Repetition was written during this time frame, I really don't know.

Also, I immediately regretted including Good Love, but listening to the finished CDs, it fits very well.

The CDs hold up well on their own as well as a double disc set.

Damn I love all those songs! I've read that Prince got really depressed after he couldn't make Sign of the Times how he envisioned it. That would be one kick ass CD!!!
