Damn U

I mean, I like the song, but it was kind of a loser of a single.

Yeah, I agree. It's memorable.
It wasn't a masterpiece, but it got plenty of airplay and it charted nice.

I honestly forgot all about Letitgo.

One of his most forgettable ballads, and certainly most forgettable single.

There are no top 40 radio stations that play this thing. I hear Digital Undergrounds "Humpty Hump" more often.

It was played around here when it first came out.

1999 The New Master I bought this all excited and thought is sucked ass when I heard Larry G's vocals, the Acapella 1999 version, and that stupid Rosario Dawson Poem. But it is a cool little collectors item.

I do believe Dinner With Delores got even less radio play than Call My Name. But it's a better ballad.

I'm considering "Forgettable" as both a combination of bland, boring ass song combined with generally indifference by the public. In which case, Call My Name is a tour de force of forgettable.

I like alot of Prince ballads. Just not that one. Many of the ballads on Emancipation where far superior to Call My Name.

You know what-? Dinner With Delores wasn't actually that bad...but I can't get past the; "...like a Brontosaurus" line in the verse.

hmph!

That movie, "From Justin to Kelly" gets more airtime on T.V. than Call My Name.
