can we get something in the FAQ's
about what movies prince has had his music appear in?

i was watching a cheech and chong movie quite a while back and heard
delirious in the backround..came online and made a post.

i now am watching 'weird science' and just heard private joy.

it's good to stumble across them my accident, it does make for a nice suprise but it would also be good to know just how many people can name, so i can view them as a collection.


or if anyone has a list somewhere and they can copy and paste it here for me? that'd be awesome

'Nasty Girl' is used in 'Beverly Hills Cop' during a scene at a club.
I thought there was one used in another 'Murphy' film, maybe 'Trading Places' during the house party scene, but can't remember, maybe i'm wrong.

'Mouth' in the 'Goonies' (great movie!) wears a 'Purple Rain' T-shirt.

"I Wanna Be Your Lover" plays in the opening credits for "Are We There Yet".

Who can forget "He's So Dull" playing in the first "Vacation" movie? (The scene at cousin Eddie's house when Eddie's daughter pulls out a shoebox full of weed)

My fav was Julia Roberts singing "Kiss" in the bathtub in "Pretty Woman".

Speaking of "Delirious", I think John Candy had a crappy movie in the 80s called "Delirious" and I can remember the song playing in the commercial for the movie. Anybody remember that?

"bright lights big city " had good love

and wasn't some prince song in "the last boy scout"

In a movie called 'Purple Rain', I think they used 'Under The Cherry Moon'

Also in Girl 6 by spike lee just about the whole soundtrack or maybe it actually is the whole soundtrack is Prince music.

in weird science's credits it sais that
'private joy' was by someone who goes by the name of cheyne? or someting similar

was it covered??
