3121 Perfume A Combination of History & Fragrance

It looks like the perfume 3121 is a combination of history and fragrance. 3121 opens with the herb, bergamot which was used by the Egyptians,Romans, and Arabs. In East Asia perfumes were incense based. I think we all know Prince likes incense as well. wink The use of flowers like (jasmine, gardenia, orange flower and mugeut used in 3121) came after an Iranian doctor and chemist "Avicenna" showed the process of distillation whereby oils could be extracted from flowers. In the old days, people of royalty(the bourgeois) used perfumes made from odorants like sandalwood and musk(3121 combines cedarwood and musks).

hmmm I think Prince just about covered it all in this fragrance! I am anticipating smelling it even more now.

3121 Perfume

Opens with bergamot, opulent jasmine and gardenia orange flower and muguet sensually intertwine with tuberose and ylang, ylang creating a sbutle, mysterious blend, evolving into notes of patchouli and creamy sandalwood with a base of cedarwood and luxurious musks.

Top Notes-First impression of a fragrance. This part of the fragrance lasts only for a few moments.

Middle(Heart)Notes-A blend of all the different notes. Middle notes usually linger for several hours.

Base(Bottom)Notes-Fixed notes that create a longer lasting scent, sometimes lasting for several days.
