"Musicology" was on NewPowerRadio (I can't remember that link) before it was released...

So was "3121"

"Planet Earth" will NOT be played before it's release unless it's sent to me by somebody official from NPG or Columbia/SONY/BMG.

I almost lost my shirt over the "3121" leak. mad

I'm kinda glad I want to wait.

All I know is that

The one u wanna C, Someone here on Earth and Furture Baby Mama are all ballads, as stated on the promo flyer posted on HQ.

So it's a little heavy on the ballads for me, but of course they could be all up to the standards of Adore and so that would be fine, just praying theres not another On the Couch, Satisfied.

Also Wendy and Lisa make guest appearcences, so are on more than one song i think and Sheila E also appears.

Itsays its a throwback to his 1980's sound.

Anyway check it out. Search Tlum on theart work thread in the pictures section

what's wrong with On the Couch and Satisfied? I loved those songs!

Nope.

I want the full experience of going to the shop, buying the CD, admiring the packaging, desperate to get home to listen to the damn thing and then that exquisite moment where you put it in the CD player for the first time and blast it out in full, quality sound.

Download it this weekend and the official release date means nothing other than the day you add another Prince CD onto your Prince CD shelf at home. And you end up harbouring a secret envy for those who are enjoying the thrill of a new Prince album on that day. I remember when Musicology was available for download at NPGMC.com a month before the album's release. I merrily downloaded it immediately. The day the album was actually released on CD was the most average Prince CD launch day of my life and I vowed I wouldn't do that again.

The anticipation is all part of the experience and I'm going to make damn sure I enjoy every second of that anticipation.

That said, I'm definitely looking forward to hearing people's reviews of the album. If they're good, then I know I'll love it. If they're bad, then I'll just try harder to love it.

agreed.
I bought 3121 on "Opening Day". It was a little thrilling to buy the CD, run into others buying the CD at the same time.. struck up a little convo with them...
I think I will do that again. cool

i listened to 312 when it leaked and , aside form Love and the title track, totally hated it. When i bought it, it became the soundtrack to 2006!.I really am intrigued about Planet Earth, knowing that there's only 10 tracks on it i am praying that it's 10 top drawer tacks like the classic 80's albums, i.e short on minutes but big on creativity.

bored zzz

But that's just me.

Satisfied is just "there"... but it's a good break between Love & Fury... but I was never a fan of it. bored

On the couch, I never got into myself... for the same exact reasons.

I've changed my mind about the whole downloading thing. If it leaks and I'm able to get it, I will cause I'm still buying the album.

I don't plan on downloading Planet Earth if I happen to come across a link prior to the release date. I also don't plan on reading reviews prior to the release date. I want my mind to be untainted when I experience the CD for the first time.

As for the setlist, it appears on some German retail sites, including Amazon, though the exact title of the last track is in dispute:
