I hope Prince releases Planet Earth on iTunes!! I'm surprised he never made 3121 available on iTunes. I hope he's smart enough this time to make Planet Earth available 4 us who prefer 2 download our music on iTunes!! "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

Release a digital version of his music in the world's most popular digital realm? Now THAT would be something!

It makes perfect sense to do so... so don't expect it.

Sad thing is that it's true. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

maybe he wil add the albm later- a few weeks after the album has been released? are iTunes sales calculated when they tally up copies of the album that has been sold. Its not a physical album, but they have the songs? [Edited 6/14/07 20:54pm] "So shall it be written, so shall it be sung..."

I'm from Canada so I'm not totally up on the digital providers in the States
(we don't get Verison here, for example), but I was under the impression that Verison struck the deal with Prince to compete with an iphone that was coming out soon. It might be in his contract with Verison not to put singles/songs on iTunes even if he wanted to. I've got a guitar that can part the sea.

This sounds quite logical, only time will tell I guess. It is strange that he never released 3121 on iTunes though. I wonder how many more copies he might have sold (considering it was a no.1 album without it)? Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com
