Welcome to the dawn: electric version? I really love the acoustic version of this song on The Truth album: an obscure little gem.
I love the way there is so much happening during this song in about 3 minutes: a quit, stately intro on guitar, the distorted 'Beatlesque' background vocals, the human beatbox sounds, the more angelic background vocals, the funny outro (Thank you!) Anyone knows if there really is a full / electric version of Welcome to the Dawn? I imagine it sounding really anthemlike, like Gold for example.

I'd like to hear it. Maybe he'll dust it off soon. He hasn't really had one of those in awhile. Last December was the last one, and there wasn't one prior to that for many years.
Of course, I have a feeling that "Revelation" is going to fill that order on the new album, but who knows. "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

Unfortunately the full 'electric' version is still locked away in the vault,
but you're right in your guess about what it sounds like... it's a lot longer and sounds more like 'Gold', but with more of a shuffling funk beat.

this topic has always pissed me off...How can one do that...releasae a song saying what version it is...ad then never release any other version. An action like that is "designed" to piss someone off.
