lowercasemumbl es	he's my second favorite artist afeter prince. he won showtime at the apollo back in the day.

I remember him winning an amateur night talent contest must a been around 15 years ago now, he sang God Bless the Child and he tore the place up. I remember the show was hosted by Bill Cosby and I'll never forget after David Peaston's performance Cosby shouted "...and this is Amateur Night????"

What a voice...although I bought his album at the time which was a little disappointing
