My favorite artist changes from time to time... I guess it all depends on if they're still active.
Jesse McCartney had been my favorite artist since 2003 when he first went solo. But I refer to Prince as my favorite "musician"... the difference being that he writes all of his own material and actually plays the instruments that go along with it. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong.
