I was searching for a thread on this show that aired recently. I didn't see the show Ace of Cakes, maybe it was a re-run even. Anyhoo, my kids said that during the show one of the cast had returned with a broken knee, claiming that Prince broke it by kicking her in the knee because he thought she had called him shorty. This sounds really bizarre, but why would someone say that on public television?

The real story is that she is/was a dog walker and she fell while walking dogs. She needed a job, since she had a broken knee, and a friend got her the job at the cake company.

On the show she said she was at a Prince concert and Prince was dancing near them and the girl next to her said "Hey shorty" and she laughed. Prince turned around and thought she said it, walked over to her and kicked her in the knee. I was like !! I couldn't believe it. Then I went online and found out the real story. I'm sure the viewers probably think her story is true.

Thanks, I feel much better having heard something else about it. I knew there had to be something else up with that. I hope Prince will sue her for defamation. That was really stupid of her to say that.
