Album Names What with the new album being named Planet Earth, I was wondering if this has been one of the good man's less popular album names.
While there's no doubt the quality of the album itself takes priority, I still think there's something to having a cool album name. Not only can it sum up the concept of an album but it's otherwise important because your impression may have already been formed by the album name itself. Around the world in a Day is still my favourite and I wonder what made him choose that title over say Paisley Park or America. After his near conquering of the states with Purple Rain you could understand if he named the next album America. I'm just thinking out loud

yep my expectations are rather low.
even pamela anderson has been mumbling about the state of the planet recently. in other words it's become fashionable 4 celebrities 2 express their concern about da wurld.. The lill' fella has become way too smooth and agreeable. He's (or was) far cooler as a wacky, eccentric, provocative genious. IMO though, the times have changed, as michael failed to notice and how often has his head rolled? Talk about character assassination
