I'm SO happy for everyone in Europe who's waited patiently for this tour BUT I'm incredibly jealous!!!

I know, I'll just have to eat it but I won't like it! How selfish is that??! I was still hoping for a small club show in the Bay Area since it never happened when ONA hit Oakland & NPGMC hinted @ the possibility. Guess I can give that up... Or just claim to give it up & still be on the lookout... :O

MAN, what I would give to have the $ to follow him around. I would have hit a few US dates, then I'd have my fill of ONA instead of being jealous right now! Have fun y'all & POST CONCERT REVIEWS! Love reading those...

Question: does P have a pattern w/ US vs. overseas tours? Does he tend to get more loose over there? Do more aftershows? Longer aftershows? More diverse setlists for aftershows?

Im excited!!! The European fans love him sooo much that he's bound to get inspired again ..and probably even do different set lists and aftershows!!! Its on now!Europe, treat our boy right.

Actually, it's understandable IMO. Had he toured Europe first & the US second, I (being in the US) wouldn't have wanted him to release the show live until I'd seen it for myself. To have the CD sitting in my house prior to seeing the show would have pissed me off. I'd be dying to crack it open, but I wouldn't want to go into the concert knowing everything - we already know the setlists in detail, must we know how each note will be played too??

I remember waiting in line for ONA, there was a dude playing a bootleg of the Chicago show (I think) which was irritating b/c we were moments away from seeing that very show - why ruin that anticipation?? WHACK!

Anyway, if he waits until the European leg is over to release it, I'll understand. BUT if he extends that leg of the tour...

I think he'll release it in October to coincide with the European shows. If the tickets are being paid for he can put the set on the market without having to worry about less ticket sales.

The DOW cd single was released he end of August so my guess is the box set will drop 6 weeks after that - so mid-October at the earliest. Logically you would think Prince would want to release it towards the end of the Tour so he is still fresh in the fans minds. But thats logically speaking.
