I used to have a ton of crap on my walls when I was growing up. I took all that down @ some point during college, don't really remember...

I still have the "Sign O The Times"-Movie Poster up, and the 1998-Tour-Poster from Cologne (because I live there now, very close to the Kölnarena, where the concert took place), and the Act 1-Poster where he is holding the black Cloud guitar. I´m 28 now, used to have lots more up when I was 20. I have a Purple Rain Movie-Stand up, it´s huge, and I had lots of posters of Prince with Guitars, with Mayte etc.

I used to have posters up in my bedroom but I took them down about 5 years ago. I had the one with him holding the gum-microphone D&P/Symobl era, several posters from the Live Experience '95 from the Wembley Arena gigs, with Slave on his face.
I always wanted a big poster of the centre pages from "The Beautiful Experience" booklet where's he's playing his symbol guitar!! That would look cool on the wall, IMO!!

In one of my bedroom walls, I drew the same face that appears on the "When Doves Cry" video with the tear rolling down the face and all. What can I say, it looked amazing! However, I took that and the rest of my posters down when I finally moved out of my parents home... but I still have them.
I am thinking of framing the TRC poster to put up...

Here's a question: Do we take down our poster because we no longer want them up ,or is it because we feel that we are too old to have them up?

As a kid I wasn't allowed to have posters on my wall and esp. no Prince...Now that I'm older and have a bigger house, I have my Prince room Only the best posters get framed and matted...It looks pretty good if I say so myself...Aloha~

Wow, do you have that awful picture also as a real 2D scan? I think I finally found the cover pic I've been looking for my early outtakes collection for ages! Hilarious.

took all of my posters down :except 4 1" back in 99. The 1 have now is him in a red outfit with a black background, and might say baby looks FINE!!!

I had a Lovesexy poster in my house in 1988. In 1989 I realized how idiotic it looked with prince in full-on glam makeup. He looked like a very ugly, cheap hooker. I took it down and threw it out!

Most of my posters I have put into storage. But I still have some classy framed shots hanging about the crib. In my room I have an original Under the Cherry Moon Movie poster (in mint condition) adorning my wall. I think I will always have pictures of P up, just new shots of him now and then.

Christ, the battles I had with my mother as a teenager with Prince posters.

She'd make me take them down from my bedroom wall. If I felt enough time had passed (maybe a week) I'd put them up again. She'd make me take them down again...I'd put them up again eventually. I'd put one poster on the back of my bedroom door. She'd see it (but acted like she didn't, though I know she did) and told me to take it off later on. This went on over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, for years. Once I was old enough to drive I got my own car and kept my posters in the trunk of my car.

I was always envious of the fact that whenever I went to my older brother's girlfriend's house she'd have the Controversy poster (the shower poster) on the back of the bathroom door, among other ones in her bedroom.

I'm not really into posters anymore. I'm more into pictures to hang up on the walls. Though I don't have any Prince pictures on my walls.

When I was a teenager my mother got a bit worried about me having a poster of a naked man on my bedroom wall (Lovesexy album cover) But I'm all man in case y'heard otherwise!

Actually I only took down my posters last year when I moved apartment. Found them yesterday... I haven't decided to put them back on the wall or not! I have a nice Japanese poster for the Black album launch that I liked.
