Named after his Dad's jazz band, the Prince Roger Trio. In his early years he liked to perform in suspenders and lacy underwear. Helped wash the pure white out of a MTV with "Little Red Corvette". Changed his name to a symbol in 1993. Directed two movies, 'Under The Cherry Moon' and 'Graffiti Bridge', and starred in 'Purple Rain'. Backed (in the 80s) by 'The Revolution, and (in the 90s) by the 'The New Power Generation'. Fans get upset if you say he hasn't done a great album since 1987 the last bit made me laugh  | |
