First of all, I would like to point out that there
never was a mention of a performance, so, with
that in mind, no one should have expected one.

We were invited to a dance party, with camera's
rollin!

I saw Renato and Rhonda leave as we were all
standing in line, so right there I thought...
hmmm, no performance, maybe!

Now, if you are invited to a dance party,
and you don't dance, there are a few reasons
that come to mind why one doesn't...

1) You simply don't like to dance
2) You were just tired, or not feeling well
3) You are painfully shy

I love to dance, but, unfortunately, didn't, much.
My brother and I almost did not come because of
the fact he wasn't feelin well. We decided to
go anyhow, with hopes of him feelin better
because he loves to dance.



So, why go to a PP Party?

1) $7 dollar isn't much to attend a party in
Prince's house, so to speak, You can dance,
talk to other fans, etc. (lookin around,
I wish I would have talked more to people)

2) Prince was even there checkin things out
and that is WAY COOL.

3) It's COOl to see Prince and the rest of
the band - right? You got to
sneak a peek, Now, I don't want to stare,
I like to respect his privacy.

So what do we learn from this experience?

1) We get an invitation to go to a party,
and we need to go with a good attitude.


2) We are each responsible for our own
fun at the party.

3) The invitation was a dance party, and
that is all we should have expected.

I would be a liar if I didn't admit I would
have loved to see Prince and the band play.
But, I wasn't surprised they didn't!

I was happy to hear there was a party, after
hearing there would be one in Harlem. It
was good to see he was going to have one
in his hometown!

Hopefully, when he is done touring it still
won't be ova, and he might invite us back!

They showed a video about Xenophophia,
with some airport situations and the problems that
exist now more than ever.

They also showed clips of the some of the band members
on video, apparently introducing them at various
concerts.

The DJ/Prince mixed alot of good songs, forgive me
for not remembering all of them, there were many more
tunes. The stage was beautiful in itself with the
lighting and everything.

I really would have liked to dance all night!
Being there was kind of surreal!

$7 2 B in the same room as Prince, in Prince's pad!!!???-I'd say that's money WELL SPENT!!Jeez I wish I lived over there sumtimes...
