I don't think "Fury" rocks that much At least not on the 3121 album. It sounded better when he played the song on SNL last year. But I don't think the song generally rocks as hard as some of his other songs. "I Like It There", "Dolphin" and "Let's Go Crazy". Those songs fuckin' ROCK!!!!

The 'fury' lp version isn't in the same realm of crappiness as the first version of 'guitar'. Do you think guitar's that much of an improvement? For me the lyrics are so bad it totally ruins it. Prince's "rock" tracks have been pretty weak since Play in the Sunshine.
They usually sound fine live but then he cheeses them up with too much production. | |
