What are your top FIVE Prince TV Performances of the LAST 18 months???? Okay, so our boy has REALLY been showing the masses how live performance is supposed to go down. Over the past year and a half, Prince has blessed us with some great live TV performances. It really took me back to the day of when you tuned in to the Grammys and other awards shows every year cuz you KNEW Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Madonna, and other icons were gonna show out. It's been awhile since I've felt like that, but recently Prince has brought back that anticipation of live TV performances. I can't remember the last time Prince was on TV so much in such a short time span, so I'm interested in what your TOP FIVE favorite performances were.

I had the 2006 BET Awards recorded, my husband accidentally deleted it otherwise I have all of them recorded Ooooooh he'd really be in my doghouse for that. I got to thinking about this cuz I'm putting all of the performance on DVD so I'm having to rewatch them and in one sitting like this it's SO obvious that Prince showed out on TV all year. my fave was American Idol Lolita, just cuz for one I was utterly surprised!!! I was watching the show.. and all of a sudden.... yea I got my wool over my eyes for that one...
But the Superbowl was magnificent...leaps and bounds upon the AI performance...so depeneds on the situation..those 2 are my favorites | |

Seeing him on stage funking it up with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, India Arie AND Yolanda Adams, winning an award for best male performance for Black Sweat, THEN shuttin' it down with a funky ass "3121"????  That was crazy. . . Come on now. . . this at least comes close. The rain and emotion of the Superbowl are the only things that kept the BET Awards from topping my list.  | |
