I'm really beginning to like it. Yes it's cheesy, but it just kind or works. Teach me to judge a song on hearing just 30 seconds. In the context of the album this could be really interesting.

lyrically, the song could give rise to some interesting imagery for the video; hope we get more in the full video than just dancing on a stage.

certainly hope to hear a rebirth of "red head step-child" on the new album or at least as an eventual b-side. the guitar work was nasty on that one.

Sounds good; nice rock vibe. It has a bit fuller sound than some of his recent rock stuff (A million Days, Lolita). I really like the rythymn guitar underneath.
The song's got a cool, coy vibe to it. I wish it had an intereting section in the middle; a tempo or key change, or nice vocal change that Prince does so well. It's very repetitive, but as many have said, it's a nice little tune and definitely bodes well for the new music.

For some reason, the first thing I thought of when I heard the new version was "Rock & Roll Is Alive (And It Lives in Minneapolis)"... not that the songs themselves are structured similar perhaps, bit more in the way it 'sounds'.

IM NOT DIGGING IT AT ALL AND I PREDICT IT WILL BE ANOTHER COMMERCIAL FLOP !

i was worried when i first heard it becuase i though that was litteraly the first 30 seconds. but im glad verizon choped and edited it becuase the real thing sounds so good
