Retail Date for ONA box set?? My guess is it will be released November 19th in Stores. First its right as the Xmas rush starts in Retail and thats when everyone puts out their New cds, (i.e U2, Elton and a million others) And also if a label is putting it out for him even if its REDLINE again they want this thing to sell something, even if it sells like TRC i think Redline will be happy since Best Buy owns Redline, they can make sure its in all of their stores Plus Best Buy owns Sam Goody too so even more distribution for them. Also I have heard that he has to give retail something extra because it is going to the club first, so basically alot of us will buy it twice. I think knowing that NPGMC will not make it expensive but it will be gone quick, kind of like tickets.Im not really sure if this will count towards the 4 cds, I dont really care I just want it early whatever the cost, and if the extra thing retail gets is good enough then I will buy another. So with this in mind I am guessing that The ONA box set from NPGMC will probably be on sale in a couple of weeks. It would have to be if he thinks people are going to get it from the club, because shipping will take awhile so it has to be done quick and soon. My guess October 7. It would make a lot of sense for Prince to release this during or after the European Tour. The concert reviews are going to be fantastic, fans are gonna be hyped - the perfect ingredients.
I wonder what crazy rumours ther tabloids are going to create THIS time... By the way, my mate who works at Heathrow Airport is keeping a BIG eye out for me! | |
