however, there seems to be a little clue in there about P remaking the Seargant Pepper song because of the 40 year anniversary, or have I got it all wrong. I can actually see him doing that song. I beleive it would also be a hit if he did it too..

if you read back that thread on housequake you will notice that the
comment about "40 years ago today" was directed at the user called
"lennon".

the comment had nothing to do with the news about the new prince cd
but was just a wink to that user, as the original poster clearly
stated in a follow up post on the same thread.

maybe I should read the thread more closely It would be good if he did something like that though.. Im a big beatles fan..

Not that it's anything more than a rumor, but the right way to have gone about this would have been to get involved with that remake CD, featuring The Kaiser Chiefs, Killers, etc. More exposure, and he'd definitely outperform The Killers' contribution.
