who else likes this cut? i hardly ever see it mentioned on here. sure, many of you will call it prince's "james brown by numbers" routine done to death. but still, Northside is slightly different in that it seems to be totally fun, without pretentions. it sounds like a nice jam they had in the studio, just goofing around. never ceases to make me smile when i listen to it on the road, driving my car and this tune comes up on the shuffle play.  and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
