From Frédéric Goaty ( Jazz Magazine, Muziq next issue July 10 )

Album (Sony/BMG) : July 16 (except USA, July 23, Sony/Columbia).
An event (concert) should be organised in Europe this day.

Single : June 25 digital
July 9 CD 2 tracks ( Bside : " Somewhere" )

How reliable is this? hmmm

If it IS coming out in the US on the 23rd, wonder what's coming out on the 16th that they're trying to avoid? wink lol

ok so the album 1 week after the single.

why not release the single like in 1 or
2 weeks from now.

that'll create a little bit more buzz on
the wires for the new album.

with a single and an album within 8 days
of each other one can hardly create any
buzz for the other.

especially if "Somewhere" is just another
album track.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Didn't Prince sign a deal with Columbia for Planet Earth like he did with Musicology? Why would the label be listed as Sony/BMG?

i thought the same thing about the Columbia Sony/BMG thing. perhaps Sony is handling European distribution.

Sony/bmg owns Columbia or vice versa.
