im actually from London but i live in USA now... ive lived in New York for a year but just moving to Oklahoma now to be closer to my missus family.

my dad also use to plug michael jackson, tina turner, madonna, lots of the bigshots back then. i went to stay in Rod Temperton's mansion ( the guy who wrote the Thriller album ) and i nearly drowned in his pool i was only about 7. back then it was almost unheard of to have a TV screen the size of the wall. so for me watching it i was like LOL

as for Prince... hes always been my favourite, i'll have to dig up the pic from when i was 2 with my Prince denim jacket on and fisher price turntable with his records on it lol.

he was very nice to me when i saw him, i use to go to alot of his concerts backstage, every single one was good heh(granted it was ages ago but hes probably still the same lol). ive seen him on TV alot where he just looks like he doesnt wanna say anything and looks shy or something. i think he just doesnt feel comfortable being around people he doesnt know. like for example my dad said him and a bunch of other heads went to dinner with him and he wouldnt talk directly to anyone at the table he'd talk to his bodyguard next to him who would then repeat what he said. i thought that was a bit unlike him but whatever

my favourite song is Purple Rain... it does always make me laugh those just before he does the solo hes like 'can i play this guitar !!??'..... he knows damn well he can play that guitar LOL. i was quite suprised at the direction of Fury actually, the SNL performance was good.

i wonder if the prince of darkness would give me a discount to use one of his studios seeing as my dad helped out with his stuff in London ( YEAH RIGHT)

my favourite prince gear i have is the gold and silver discs i have of his that were presented to my dad for recognition of his sales etc. if they werent still in my mums house in london id take some pics for ya.

hey Nightwalker- welcome to the org. its a great place to argue, learn, and discuss Prince. ure so lucky to have an unique POV of Prince's concerts. I hope you could share a few with us in the future. Again- welcome!!!

i didnt listen to much of his stuff for a while then randomly came across the evening with kevin smith dvd with the prince story which got my mind tickin again thats how i ended up here !!
