I have a feeling that Prince wants to get back on "pop" radio again. In order for him to do that, he is going to have to be exposed to a HUGE audience in a massive way. I do believe that this new Verizon campaigne is perfect for this. It has worked for Pink and Christina Aguilera over the past year, why not Prince. I feel that "mix" stations (that play 80s, 90s and currents) will all jump on "guitar".

Only one gossip blog reported on the verizon news and the person who runs that blog has been a big fan for years. None of the other really popular ones I visit did.

Australians love Prince and nothing from 3121 or Musicology was played on radio here. If there's anything more radio friendly than 3121 or Musicology and it doesn't get played, then I don't know if Guitar will go anywhere.

I see Black Sweat on tv alot though, so if the rest of the video is good, then he might have a hit.

All fun aside..yes i like to hear or see More "Prn" played..or have some big hits/success. (not that hes not) but radio/tv just dont push it..
It seems back in the days if a song wasnt a hit. it still got rotation, and grew on people..[im not just talking about P] but lots of artist.
Now adays they might give a song 1,2 plays..and thats it...lost hits..bummer

Purplesweat-Yeah I've got that e-wire(new underground connections)apparently my estate where I built was the 1st to get it in Australia.It's free for 1st 6mths.It has MTV and VH1 channel.VH1 always doing top 20 lovesongs or top 20 80's songs etc.I see Purplerain alot,Rasberryberee but none of his latest songs.
