prince only pays his musicians $500.00 a week salary! they get bonuses for concerts and gig but their contracts are $500.00 a week!!trust me I've seen one i would encourage you slowing your roll a tad...before things get too heated one of this forum's moderators gets frustrated enough to take action...get your toes wet before you jump straight into the pool. Don't be silly. Prince has not sold out. He's expanding his music genre. And to suggest Prince will do Viagra is stupid and bogus. Furthermore, you comparing today's society of musicians with Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis. Absurd! Think before you type. Has ever occured to you that Jimi and Miles never did commercials because they wasn't offered any. You got to remember, today is 2007. Times are different. It would've been unheard of that a white owned company in the 60's would look for a black musician to sponsor them. Nat King Cole was the very few blacks at the time to do commercials. Little Richard or Chuck Berry never gotten that chance and neither Jimi and Miles. But if they were around today I think they would do the same thing. It comes down to one thing. MONEY!
