TRC: why not to make a new version? (new title is booyah advice). In your opinion will ever be realeased a new TRC version with new lyrics, instead of that crappy JW messages (and without that lame slow voice before and after each song)?
I'm sure it would be a masterpiece. [Edited 6/8/07 8:45am] In God we trust.

I'm sure it would be a masterpiece. Wouldn't that make it an entirely new album altogether? It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Why should i edit it? Don't yu like it? I guess it's a beautiful title. Me too i'm beautiful. I love the Rainbow Children, and I'd be interested in any new versions. It would be nice if titles were reflective of threads, though - in this case something like "The Rainbow Children - I'd like to hear a new version", rather than a title that leads people to think that there is a new version already done. Especially in this time of speculation about Planet Earth and new tracks, I think it's important to not start thread titles that could lead people to thinking "I read somewhere that there's a new version of the Rainbow Children" when it's just a nice idea for discussion. Aloisio, sorry I've jumped on you twice about threads this morning - this really is nothing personal; I guess I'm jumping in as a self-appointed unofficial moderator.

1) TRC is already a classic/masterpiece. It is his most focused/artistic album of the decade
2) It is what it is, voice and all. Same goes with all of the other albums. Nothing will make them better than they already are. Christian Zombie Vampires

Well, in my opinion, these JW-obsessed lyrics are really bad, laughable even.
But even without those lyrics, The Rainbow Children isnt as great as many people think it is. Sure, the more organic, live sounding music is a relieve after the Kirk Johnson years. But when it comes to the quality of the songwriting and composing TRC is quite mediocre: most of the songs are copies of earlier Prince songs, or just tiresome jazz-rock jams. Next to that: there is no real passion, soul, in Princes delivery. I hear a Prince brainwashed by dogmatics, sounding not very sure about the things he is expressing. To be short: - The Rainbow Children with JW-lyrics: 4 out of 10 - The Rainbow Children without JW-lyrics: 5,5 out of 10
