I am getting a bit tired of all the "Prince is a sellout" threads. Jeez when he doesn't promote himself he is accused of having no business sense and now that 2007 is shaping up to be his best year for ages (at least in business terms) he is accused of cosying up with corporates and selling out! How else is an independent artist supposed to promote himself to the general public?

I think a lot of Prince fans would prefer him to be their little musical secret, like an exclusive little club. They hate the idea of the general public liking him again and want to keep him all to themselves!
