Of course he should, especially now that he´s a bit more grounded and mature and not as vain and full of himself as he was in the 80´s.
He needs the guidance of a really cool director, for instance some role in the next Tarantino movies, a good script and a drastically different and challenging role.
He´s very disciplined and intelligent , so why not ? I´m going to repeat myself but, as a long time Batman fan, I found Prince in the Partyman videoclip much more convincing than Nicholson as the Joker.

i don't think prince has the patience to take acting seriously. it's not something that comes as naturally to him as music, and i can't see him getting into acting and "shaping his craft" or however the hell they put it on the actor's studio.

i think he's a musician first and he's dedicated to his religion more than he'll ever be drawn to acting again.

I'd like to see him have another go at some acting. It'd be funny if he did a one off cameo in something like Curb Your Enthusiasm. I love that programme and reckon the irony that runs through it may suit Prince. I bet Larry David could think up some funny scenes with him appearing in it.

I think you were right on Anx, but I'd take it even a step further. I don't think Prince thinks of himself as a musician or that he "is music" anymore. I think he see's himself as A Child of God and his challenge now is to improve in his relationship with God.

Depends on the script. It should be something that suits him. Given the fact that he's a musician and not a professional actor, I thought his acting was pretty darn good (especially in Purple Rain).
