How reliable is this?
If it IS coming out in the US on the 23rd, wonder what's coming out on the 16th that they're trying to avoid? "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

ok so the album 1 week after the single.
why not release the single like in 1 or 2 weeks from now. that'll create a little bit more buzz on the wires for the new album. with a single and an album within 8 days of each other one can hardly create any buzz for the other. especially if "Somewhere" is just another album track. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Didn't Prince sign a deal with Columbia for Planet Earth like he did with Musicology? Why would the label be listed as Sony/BMG? "I Was FINE Back in the Day!"

D'oh!
Just dawned on me that this is obviously the song previously thought to have been called 'Somewhere Here On Earth'. I'm so slow.

i thought the same thing about the Columbia Sony/BMG thing. perhaps Sony is handling European distribution.

If you check out 3121.com there's a new pic of the Sony building. Another hint perhaps?
