Camille: Best Prince album ever? Had this album been released, I think it might possibly be my favorite Prince album of all time. Tight & funky. It's a shame.
Had they gone ahead and put this out the way they planned, not crediting it to Prince, and not giving it a huge push, they still could have done Sign O' The Times/Crystal Ball/whatever and replaced the Camille tracks with others like Crystal Ball, Joy In Repetition, etc. The Black Album probably wouldn't exist, but that's okay. I'll take Camille over that. Anyone think this could have been his best album ever, if it had been released? I think it could've been. At the very least, it's his best unreleased album. One of my favorites too. I wished that this album would have came out as it is way funkier than the Black Album. I would love to hear and see Prince revive the Camille alter ego. __________________________________________________

oh, Camille, how I miss thee. 'Twas the funkiest in all the land...there'll never be another.

Camille represents the most creative area of Prince's career...I love all the Camille songs...Good love from Bright lights big city...a classic. U can see that Outcast is a fan of Camille 2.

It would have been my favorite album if it had been released. I listen to those Camille songs more than the other songs. Camille was too funky.
