I can't imagine retail sitting on this until saturday to release. It must be an internet only release initially & then the standard release later.

I've heard rumblings that this could be an internet only release, nothing sourced, just speculation. I would find that improbable for a couple of reasons.

I don't think Verizon would include an album that many of their subscribers would not know how to get in their marketing.

It is dropping on a day when large numbers of fans will be in MN, away from computers.

Macy's will likely be selling it.

It is being given out at the London shows for sure and a give away at the Target Center would ensure a 1st day bump of 60,000 units.

There is just too much going on and too many public performances for an internet release.

Ummmm...all it says at the linked site is that Guitar is the new single. It doesn't say anything, at all, about Planet Earth.

It helps avoid one store getting an upperhand by selling product they recieve before another store. Tuesday allows a buffer before the weekend in case a shipment is delayed and gives time to generate word of mouth buzz for weekend shoppers.

This new version of Guitar gives me more hope than the old version did.
