I would think that the single would be released in some form between now and the album's release. (That's the concept of a "single"). The Verizon ustomer base is only so big so it would be foolish to only allow a fraction of the public to access it. Will iTunes get it? Will it be available on 3121.com?

What is the format of the single?
Can it be transfered from the mobile phone to a computer?

At the beginning of this clip just after Prince strokes the brim of his hat, the camera cuts to a full shot of the band, and he is facing stage right with his left foot raised. It's in the TV ad too and have it freeze framed in HD thanks to my DVR so there's no doubt that I'm seeing this.

He's not wearing heels! You can see the sole of his shoes (looks like he's wearing sneakers) and they're definitely not heels. There were rumors last year of hip problems and possibly a need for surgery (again I emphasize RUMORS) due to so many years of jumping around in very high heels, but this isn't the first time (I have pics of him courtside at a bball game) he's worn flats. Does anyone know if he's decided not to wear them anymore? You'd think he'd be wearing his heels unless there was a reason.

I finally got to hear the whole reworked version thats gonna be on the album and I must say it definitely rocks harder than the earlier released version.

Just heard the full version of "Guitar". A few comments:

- Its lightyears better than the version we heard back in January. That one was really demo quality and fit for only a b-side, if even. This one really overpowers the other

- This is a really good first single. I dont get the same feeling I get with Black Sweat tho, for some reason. I really thought that one would be a hit. Still, "Guitar" has alot of hit potential, maybe even moreso than Black Sweat

- Guitar playing is AWESOME!!

heres my only issue with the song...prince's vocals at the beginning of it. its very, ummm...lazy sounding...its his usual "old man swagger" style of vocals that i am bored with to death.

but then he seems to get into it as the song goes along...and i likey likey. .

it's really disappointing to hear that 'guitar' absolutely copies this refrain though. i have only heard the verizon ad part but i actually thought prince was covering 'spill the wine' when i heard the lead in.

Have heard the full single now - great track, now definitely "fleshed-out" and slick, but the demo/alternate version is kinda funky ...

Also, being a big fan of THE GOLD EXPERIENCE and the music he did round then, can't help but notice a certain Endorphinmachine vibe and feel ... cool..
