Time is just a number when it comes to love and all that. He just didn't perform one date in Hawaii. His first Hawaiian Island gigs were in February 1996 after he got married to then-wife Mayte, then returned in February 1997 for a so-called "anniversary" gig (I was there). Then there were the three dates in Honolulu and Maui in December 2003. Back on topic --- another place Prince has not played is Budapest, Hungary. If he ever plays there, I am so there (just like Anx). Also I would love to see Prince perform in Russia and in South Africa. I went to all of those shows except for the one on Maui |

To wrap it up, he played:
US Canada All western European countries (except Finland, Iceland and the mini-states, but he did play in Monaco) Japan Hong-Kong Aus Brazil Argentina That's it! That leaves quite a big gap between Austria and Hong-Kong. Or between Hong-Kong and Aus. Or between the US and Rio de Janeiro. Doesn't he have any fans there? And to think that he plays at the Latin Awards! It's a good thing the award show was held in California, otherwise Prince would have never showed up!
It figures that by far he played the most dates in the US. Probably around 80% of his shows! I love that his first gig outside the US was in Holland - Amsterdam, in my beloved Paradiso! | |
