On one of the Michael Bland threads a while back, Michael said that his wife at the time read the original script and it was pretty good. But somewhere along the line, someone (most likely Prince) edited it way down for whatever reason. "Always blessings, never losses......"

On one of the Michael Bland threads a while back, Michael said that his wife at the time read the original script and it was pretty good. But somewhere along the line, someone (most likely Prince) edited it way down for whatever reason. I think the story is that WB made him go back and re-cut the movie, because it was a complete mess. Now, if Madonna, coming off of Shanghai Surprise and Who's That Girl didn't want to touch it with a 10 foot pool, you know it couldn't have been any good. I've seen much worse...it was a sketchy somewhat innocent flick..couldn't stand UTCM though. If more films were similar themed today (enhanced of course) it would make a nice diversion from the nonstop sadistic horror dvds popping out each month. | |

I realize it's a bad movie, but I love it! 
I'm such a fam, but I love the music scenes, Prince is hawt!, there are some funny moments and sadly enough Aura reminds me of myself
