Crystal Ball - Probably A Stupid Question... I'm referring to the 1998 compilation rather than The Crystal Ball album..
What would be the proper credits for each song? I know that the whole collection is attributed to but it obviously isn't. I'm guessing it's something like this... Crystal Ball - Prince and The Revolution Dream Factory - Prince and The Revolution Acknowledge Me - T.A.F.K.A.P. Ripopgodazippa - T.A.F.K.A.P. Lovesign - T.A.F.K.A.P. featuring Nona Gaye Hide The Bone - T.A.F.K.A.P. 2morrow - T.A.F.K.A.P. So Dark - Prince Movie Star - Prince and The Revolution Tell Me How U Wanna Be Done - Prince and The New Power Generation featuring Carmen Electra Interactive - T.A.F.K.A.P. Da Bang - T.A.F.K.A.P. Calhoun Square - T.A.F.K.A.P. What's My Name? - T.A.F.K.A.P. Crucial - Prince An Honest Man - Prince and The Revolution Sexual Suicide - Prince and The Revolution Cloreen Bacon Skin - Prince and Morris Day Good Love - Camille Strays Of The World - Prince Days Of Wild (Live) - The New Power Generation Last Heart - Prince and The Revolution PoomPoom - T.A.F.K.A.P. She Gave Her Angels - T.A.F.K.A.P. 18 & Over - Prince The Ride - Prince Get Loose - Prince P. Control (Remix) - T.A.F.K.A.P. Make Your Mama Happy - Prince Goodbye - T.A.F.K.A.P. It's difficult to ascertain, because a lot of Prince solo stuff is acredited to his band at the time and vice-versa. Am I completely off the mark?

Hey Justin, long time no see, good to see you back here...how are the neighbors doing ?
Your list is pretty accurate , except for some of those 93-94 Prince songs because those might as well be labeled "Prince and the NPG" songs, like, for instance, Strays Of The World or So Dark. And of course we all know that most of the songs from that era jumped back and forth between planned projects/albums like COME or THE GOLD EXPERIENCE, that´s why you could also label them as TAFKAP songs. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Disc 1:
1. Crystal Ball (10:26) - Prince 2. Dream Factory (3:06) - Prince and the Revolution 3. Acknowledge Me (5:26) - 4. Ripopgodazippa (4:38) - 5. Love Sign (Remix) (3:52) - Nona Gaye & 6. Hide The Bone (5:03) - 7. 2morrow (4:13) - 8. So Dark (5:13) - 9. Movie Star (4:25) - Prince and the Revolution 10. Tell Me How U Wanna B Done (3:14) - Prince and the NPG (feat. Carmen Electra) Disc 2: 1. Interactive (3:01) - 2. Da Bang (3:19) - 3. Calhoun Square (4:46) - 4. What's My Name (3:03) - 5. Crucial (5:05) - Prince 6. An Honest Man (1:12) - Prince and the Revolution 7. Sexual Suicide (3:39) - Prince and the Revolution 8. Cloreen Bacon Skin (15:36) - Prince / The Time 9. Good Love (4:55) - Prince / Camille 10. Strays Of The World (5:06) - Disc 3: 1. Days Of Wild (9:18) - 2. Last Heart (3:00) - Prince and the Revolution 3. Poom Poom (4:32) - 4. She Gave Her Angels (3:51) - 5. 18 & Over (5:40) - 6. The Ride (5:12) - 7. Get Loose (3:30) - 8. P. Control (Remix) (5:59) - 9. Make Your Mama Happy (4:00) - Prince 10. Goodbye (4:34) - Even though some of the tracks are listed as 'Prince and the Revolution' none of them feature the band, and could in fact be classed as 'Prince' songs. The reason they're credited to 'Prince and the Revolution' is purely due to how the album that they were due to be included on would've been credited. Crystal Ball is credited to 'Prince' rather than 'Prince and the Revolution' because this is the version from the shelved 1987 Crystal Ball album, not the Dream Factory version (which was different). Good Love is credited to 'Prince / Camille' because it was officially released by 'Prince' but is one of the original Camille songs (just like Housequake etc.). [Edited 5/26/07 6:49am]

SO was Crucial a Solo recording?
I guess it would be credit to Prince and not Prince And The Revolution as it was according to the liner notes for CB 1998 at one point going to be on SOTT. Even thoughI was think of it a s a Revotion song. I guess also the CB version doesn't have Eric Leeds on it.

I dunno - I tag all of his songs in iTunes as just "Prince".
• There are only 3 ". . . and the Revolution" albums • There are only 2 ". . . and the New Power Generation" albums • The rest are either just "Prince" or ""

Oh. Don't ask. I've made a resolution not to disclose as much information online (about my private life) as I have in the past. However... Crazy Keith and his child-bride Jackie moved-out and have been replaced by somebody known only to me as "Boggy"... You can imagine. Crazy Keith left Jackie on their first wedding anniversary. Their baby daughter had been christened in the local Methodist Church earler that day. After the christening and subsequent family binge-drinking session in the local pub, he just never came home again. I think the baby was called Lataysha or Tenahjah or something. He had the name tatooed on his left leg to mark the occasion. The other insaniac neighbours are all still present and correct. Or incorrect as the case may be. Yeah, well as 'Dark' was attributed to Prince, I had assumed that 'So Dark' would be too. I don't know enough about this stuff to tell you the truth.

Yeah, that's how I was trying to work it out. I'm sticking to your list, Tim. I'd forgotten that 'Good Love' had already been officially credited to Prince on the "Bright Lights, Big City" soundtrack album (rather than Camille).
