Pussy Control! I love the song Pussy Control!! Problem is, with 3 little girls, I can only play it while alone in my car, kids are at school, or on my ipod. Even though when it's on my ipod, I am sure to be singing along, and that in itself is dangerous. I love to play it while cleaning house, get's me motivated! But then I am scared the neighbor's are gonna hear the lyrics. I look like the ultimate soccer Mom to the outside world, don't want to get the nieghbor kids banned from coming over to that "crazy ladies house". Do you guys blare that song?

I sure do when I'm in my car, but I usually just listen to it on my ipod.

I do in my car, but if you are at a red light like I was the other day, and I'm at the point saying "aaaaahhhhh Pussy Control" you get dirty looks. Maybe I am just being overy self concious. spelling edit. [Edited 5/23/07 12:25pm]

When your girls are a little bit older it will actually be a good song for them to hear. It's a positive song about woman being strong and standing up for themselves!!! Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.

The only song embarssed to play anywhere is "orgasm" (if that really is a song) some lady moaning (Mayte????? Dunno.). Even in the car, your stuck at a red light and everyone looking at you with all that moaning coming from your car.

Agreed, it is a good pro-women song indeed! Just to the casual listener it sounds dirty. I LOVE paying attention to the lyrics! My favorite is, Verse 2- Pussy got bank in her pockets Before she got dick in her drawers If brother didn't have good and plenty of his own In love Pussy never did fall And this fool named Trick wanna stick her Uh, talkin' more Schick than a Bic 'Bout how he gonna make Pussy a star If she come and sing a lick on his hit Pussy said "Nigga, U crazy if U don't know Every woman in the world ain't a freak U can go platinum 4 times Still couldn't make what I make in a week!

haha... most definitely. The only sucky thing about liking Prince is that he's so contagious that u want to share him with everybody, but u just can't with some of his material... I feel like a lot of his material I really can't play. They'd have my parents turning their heads at me. I've pretty naive @ 20 years old and I have a clean mouth... I don't want to have them have to explain to me what he's talking about when I already have a pretty good idea. Anyway, I feel like I'll never be able to play TGE, Come (or even ATIWAD- regarding Tambourine & Temptation-- especially Temptation) around them. Come is awesome, though, regardless of what subject matters it touches on. If u had given me the album a few years ago, it probably would have scarred me for life Darling Nikki is the most dangerous, I think. Because I get it stuck in my head so much and that's not the kinda song u want to be singing out loud. But at least it's listenable (but my dad had seen PR b4, so that was no biggie). had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

Darling Niki is right up the same alley! I LOVE the song, but I am always careful not to sing it in front of other people, just awkward that way. [Edited 5/23/07 15:00pm]

And then they look at you funny when you don't play him. -Timmy on after 6-25 fans

Y'all are some prudes. I used to blast NWA's "Fuck Tha Police" and Tupac's "Hit Em Up" at high volumes in my dad's household when I was a a young teenager.
Playing "Head", "Darling Nikki" and "Pussy Control" seemed tame after I used to blast those jams. |

I must say this is my favorite part too. The whole song is very motivational to me personally because I went through a LOT of the same things depicted in the song growing up and putting myself through school. I had started working on my Masters when this came out and was like, "Hell yeah, Prince know what a sista is going through for REAL!" I felt like he was really telling my story. On the flip side, when he does the 3rd verse I interpret it as, Pussy has accomplished a lot of things, is financially independent but is now intimidating to a lot of brothas cuz she's got her own shit and ain't putting up with no mess. Therefore it takes a A 12 o'clock straight up nigga that don't give a shit that u're pussy control
I'm still waiting. . . LOL!!! But I love that shit!!! I currently have SCNDLS on my license plate but I've toyed with putting P CTRL on my next car. I've narrowed it down to BLK SWT, RTIC CT, or 3121. still debating. Anyway, that song is da BOMB and the beat is crazy!

I love the song P Control too.
My friends and I play it all the time and once just for kicks, a friend and I danced to it while waiting for some food at a Church's Chicken. Nobody noticed us, their heads were buzzing by Prince's naughty words! LOL! A group of us also jammed to Head at a Sonic. (Funny how the bad songs come out at fast food places.) I love a Man who:

P Control and Billy Jack Bitch are the only songs I can't sing out loud...thank God for MP3 players...The other 'racy' songs are easily edit-able...

I love this song. It's not going to go down as a classic or become a standard (except in strip joints), but it's just so over the top and balls out. I miss that. "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran
