Prince is a total fucking asshole who has NO respect for the views of his fans. He is so determined to alienate those who do not share his views... fuck him. Is this fucking moron unaware that there are a great number of atheists/agnostics who like his music?

It would be really cool if all the atheists/agnostics on Prince.org wrote to the NPGMC and voiced our opinions on his stupidity.

EDIT: Allow me to clarify. I am NOT offended by the joke at all. My concern is that Prince has no respect for the views or beliefs of his fans. The joke that was made was meant to be a put down to non-believers. I do not think that you would ever find a business that would attempt to alienate a fair percentage of their customers, yet Prince has done just that.

...and it is the oldest and lamest anti-atheist joke in the world.

All I am saying is that he should exercise some restraint and taste. Do you think that McDonalds, Sony, Warner Brothers, General Motors, or any other business would make such a joke that would purposely alienate a fair percentage of consumers?

The same thing can be said about his Atheist fans..the things i have heard from atheist fans after they found out that Prince Converted to a Jehovah witness was awful and disrespectful to people who believe in God...people come on the org all the time and dog Jehovah Witness and Christians...what Prince said pales in comparison to what i've heard about him in the org.

The joke itself is not the issue. The issue at hand is Prince's complete lack of business accumen, tact, taste and consideration. As the head of the NPGMC company, he should realize that his comments are bad for his business and his image.

I know that he does not care about this because we will continue to buy his product because we like his music.

And... consumers complaining about products is not the same as corporations blatantly disregarding the views and feelings of consumers and being disrespectful to them.
