prince is singing the best during 1999 album period i was listening 1999 tour rehearsal(1982).
i noticed that best singing with clean voice by prince was during that period. he sang like he had some vocal training. anyone agree??? | |

One of my all time favorite era's for Prince. I love all the eclectic music he created and I agree, his voice was fantastic. Still is today but he was a hungry musician back then. "

yeah,i think his normal voice is a bit nasal.
but it wasnt during that era | |

yeah, his voice really came into its own during this time
but it wasn't 'til i heard "purple rain" that i really felt he became a singer if you listen to everything else up to that point, you can really tell so yeah, i'm thinking he had some training during this time [Edited 6/8/07 1:58am] | |

actually, when I listen to his first album is when I'm like WOW...his voice is so pure on For You...very beautiful. | |
