*I have 2 diff sets of his early material (thanx to the anonymous donors). I sorted thru one set yesterday... I dig "Soft & Wet" and "Irresistible Bitch" (the only 2 WOW songs that I can remember off the top of my head). Give me more time, thu. I've got another set of early stuff to sort thru.

what was the first album U got or bought ? My parents actually got me Purple Rain 8 trac...I was young too...But they did stop me from listening to some songs b/c of content.
what concert did U attend or see ? My first was 1997 then at the aftershow he pulled me on stage. Second one was in Houston, TX in 2004.

What's the closest you ever got to him? The closest I got to him was in 1997 at an aftershow on stage with him. He hand picked me to dance on stage for 3 or 4 songs.

I was born in 1982, so that makes me a young fan I suppose.

what concert did U attend or see ? I didn't see him until I was 19, the ONA show in Seattle.

what do U think about his movies ? I loved Purple Rain, and found it very moving. I was thrilled with Under the Cherry Moon, because it was so fun, and a great change of pace. It took almost 9 years to see it all the way through though. I saw GB just last year, and I have not seen it since. Does that tell you anything?

what music videos do U like ? Dolphin is my all time favorite. I also like Raspberry Beret, Kiss, Diamonds and Pearls, Cinnamon Girl, Holy River, Face Down, The One, 7, Glam Slam, and many more.

what was first prince song U heard ? funny story. I vaugely remember seeing the video for love sign on tv when i was younger. considering when it came out i was probably 9. I remember getting the woman and prince confused and feeling uncomforatble . I only know what video it was now, cuz i'm the fan i am, but i always remembered the red dress and car. Concert: Not one yet, but the first televised concert I saw was the "Rave Un2 the Year 2000".

Movies: I love Purple Rain. And Under the Cherry Moon is rip roaring hilarious. Grafitti Bridge still leaves me hanging. I didn't understand it and it was kind of weird to see him just HUG Aura. (I'm used to seeing him mash people with his lips lol. )
