Verizon It has been mentioned in the past that Verizon might be involved in distributing Prince's new album. Verizon is reportedly paying Prince $750,000 for the gigs in L.A. We all remember Prince's speach at the NAACP awards. If Verizon was to be involved in distributing Prince's cd, does anyone know how this would or could work? I've got a guitar that can part the sea.

If this is so, is Prince starting a new trend then? Phone companies and digital providers distributing albums. I'm still not sure how this would work. I've got a guitar that can part the sea.

This can't be a good thing for audio quality expectations. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

They are giving out the album with phonebooks. Each unit counts as a sale.
