You mean the 12'18 mins album version?
It's from Sheila E's 1985 album "Romance 1600".

one of my favorites....esp. the live version from Sheila's video. Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"
They've taken a lifetime lease on Paisley Park ...

Great, great song! One of those instances where you want to slap him for giving away such a great song. There were a lot of them that year. "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

love it...
isn't that the song she performed in Krush Groove? somebody stole my DVD, so I can't see for myself I loved that rehearsal scene when she's doin the James Brown imitation good gawd I love ...Romance 1600 just can't stomach that damn "Bedtime Story" except for how it starts up and the tail end when the bass drums trails like "boom, boom... boom" or something like that because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
