Who is masturbating? In Darling Nikki, when he says "Met her in a hotel lobby masturbating with a magazine," everybody assumes that it is Nikki that is masturbating. Well, it would be "I met her in a hotel lobby WHILST masturbating with a magazine" to be grammatically accurate if it was supposed to be Prince. But anyway, in the context of the song, Nikki is the sexual freak who takes Prince on a journey of sexual liberation not the other way around, so it only makes sense if it is her in the lobby with a magazine. | |
