Every indication suggests that the One Nite Alone Live 3CD set will form part of the NPGMC membership deal i.e. at no additional cost. The 3CDs will be mailed to us before it is officially made available to the public. Effectively, this completes the minimum 4 disc deal.

One could argue the 4CDs for $100 is not good value for money. However, membership did include the possibility of seeing Prince live in as personal an environment as ever been experienced before. By touring Europe this fall, most members will have felt they have received value for membership.

I've received the One Nite Alone CD, I am about to see Prince perform One Nite Alone Live in both London and Paris and I will receive the One Nite Alone Live 3CD set shortly in the post before it is made available to the public. I am expecting best seats in the house priviledges and there is the excitement of aftershow possibilities. This is what I bought into for $100, and this is what I've been given.

I may not renew for my 3rd year, I am undecided as of yet.

Nobody knows.
Some feel we will be able to buy the set before the public sale.
Some feel it will be the remainder of the NPGMC cds.
Nobody knows for sure.
Its all guesswork at this time.
I'm leaning towards we will have to pay.

Not being a member of NPGMC i'm kinda hoping it will be on sale at venues on the european tour before it goes on sale in the stores.

i got a feeling it will be.

prince can't be bothered to tell us what we'll be getting for our $100.

but, he CAN be counted on to force religion on us via the member website.

hey if you have such strong feelings about his comment. why don't you send an email to the club. Or if your going to his show why don't you ask him to his face. I am so tired of people talking shit about him on this site, but when it come down to it you are the same ones kissing his ass at the shows.

I think I'd rather get the other 3 Cd's as the three advertised albums in the back of the ONA tourbook that is still current, I believe.


Someone check at the upcoming Europen tour to see if that is still printed in the back of the book as advertisement for the club.


Then the live set available to us first. It did say that the albums we would get will not be in stores!

i think we'll get the rest of our member CD's all at once at the end of the year.

This way, NPGMC will save a bundle in shipping and the fans will be pumped enough in time to sign up for next year.

If this happens it will be a redeaming business move to keep the club going. I really would like to see this thing go to where I first invisioned it to be.

I think one reason I believe ONA Live will not be a NPGMC cd is because I don't want it to be. Yet some peoples arguements that it is the NPGMC cd are strong. So my question is: suppose ONA Live is the next NPGMC selection - would you be happy if ONA Live & then Zenophobia(jazzy studio cd)were the end of the club cds? That would give members 2 studio cds & a 3cd live set. A total of 5 cds - just not the list of cds we were told about earlier. Would you be able to live with that?
I think I could deal with ONA Live being a club cd as long as it doesn't signify the end of the club cds. If ONA & ONA Live are the years club cds I won't be too happy.
So I wait & see.

The words 'given the opportunity to get it' suggest that this is an option to purchase (early) rather than it forming part of the 4cd package.

The confusion, I believe, stems from the NPGMC email which says 'watch your doorstep' - as if something physical is going to be mailed - rather than a future email which says 'go to the NPGMC Retail site to order exclusively before it goes to worldwide distribution'.

Still, - who's to say. As always, it's wait and see. personally, i'd like the 3 other CDs previously slated, and I'd purchase 'ONA - Live!'

I'd much rather get 'exclusive' CD's
as part of my membership deal than

You have to realize that with any press release/statement from Prince/NPGMC it is understood that it is subject to change.
So this Fall may become this Winter may become this Spring.

I tend to think that any NPGMC info will not coincide with retail info so as not to interfere in THOSE sales.

I'm finding the closer we get to the end of NPGMC year 2 the more excited I get - what are we getting? Don't know but time is growing short so soon we will know. There is going to be the Live set - just not sure how soon. Two weeks? Two months? But definitely soon. Three more club cds? Who knows! I feel like the promise is about to come true. Anticipation. Impatience. Music. Frustration. Desire. Hunger. Fun. Its all in the air. Prince is winding us up and the rubber band is about to pop.WhatwhathwhatWHAT!!!

Exactly right - personally in my currency the NPGMC cost me $200 to join...if 1x30 min CD + a triple CD set that is available in stores soon is all we get I wouldn't join again - I mean 4 cds here would cost me at most $100 not $200 (emancipation cost $30 when it was released here)...and what would be worse is that when I joined we were told NPGMC Cds would be EXCLUSIVE to members only!

If this Live set becomes apart of our 4cd membership deal, and the ones that were listed in the tour book are NOT promised? This will be the last year eye will be supporting Prince and his strange ways.. yes its totally expected, and eye'm clearly not b*tching.

Now.. if we get this ona live sent, no charge? yes, eye will join again.. eye just feel that at the end of this year, NPGMC year one will have kicked Year 2's ass.. 4 some strange reason
