... confused

4 me, its the hardest song to get into.
I have to get myself in the mood 4 it at times.

The other day, I go to it, but again, didn't get into it. Consequently, it got stuck in my head for most of the day... I played thru TGE later that day, and I enjoyed it A LOT... that never happened b4.

I guess I don't really get it at times, but with time, I'm sure I'll like it more than 10% of the time.

Haha... that's probably my favorite part of the song.
actually, it was the first and only part of it I understood the first few times I listened 2 it.

When that song is in my head, I like to say that part over and over again... even though I kinda get lost after he says "in a mission of fishing for logic in a think tank"

I've kept it in the playlist cuz its a good combo along with Shh... and ive grown to like it more over time.

fuck yeah! I remember that at Wembley Arena, looked like he was gliding on air, with his Gold guitar. I didn't know that track at all, but fuck me, it rocked!

I love this song, REAL loud on a big system.

Ow!
Come on!
Yeah!
C-c-c-c-c-come on!

Would U please look at this mother next 2 me
Frontin' more booty than Peru got keys
Damn, if I don't get that
Wait right there and I'll be right back
Got a new trick in the back of my car
It's kinda like a movie but U're the star
Lights, camera, make a scene
The Endorphinmachine

Go baby
The Endorphinmachine
Yeah, go baby (Go baby)

Tippy, tippy, tin my friend or shall we begin?
Step right up and I'll strap U in
Don't be shy, this won't hurt a bit
Unless of course U don't believe in it
As sure as the dippy dippy wave of my 'do
U'll believe in somethin' before this night is through
Press one 4 the money, press 2 4 the dream
And get ready 4 somethin' that U've never seen
The Endorphinmachine

Go baby
The Endorphinmachine
Go baby (Go baby)

Tommy Barbarella, turn it on

Uh huh, uh huh
Hold up, wait a minute
Ain't no good unless somebody else is in it
U there with the cynical disposition
Perhaps U'd like 2 join us in a mission
Of fishin' 4 logic in a think tank
Unless, of course, U're feelin' like a punk and take the bank
But every now and then there comes a time U must defend
Your right 2 die and live again, live again, live again
Get up, get up, get in
The Endorphinmachine

It's alright, baby (Go Baby)
Don't be shy (The Endorphinmachine)
Yeah, I ain't gonna hurt U
Go baby

Come on, come on (Endorphinmachine)
Well, I told ya (Go baby)
The Endorphinmachine
Go baby, go baby, go, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
Don't make me!

Prince esta muerto {Prince is dead} {x2}
Que viva para siempre el Poder de la Nueva Generacion
{Long live the New Power Generation}

Pussy Control, Endorphinmachine and Shhh might be the best opening sequence of all of his albums. I think it definitely says "I'm back and I'm kicking ass and taking names."

I'd have 2 disagree with ya on that.

Sure pussy control was a GREAT way to open the album. It was the first time I'd heard him curse so much, but the beat made it too good to dismiss. So I got used to his language and now it just washes over me w/o a flinch.

"the song of the day" is part of the reason why I had a rocky start with this album and kinda took me a while to get into. But I kept it in the line up cuz Shh helps level out the overall excitement inflicted by the previous song.

For a while, I didn't get what the big deal is about this song... but it's still growing on me, so I'm gonna be hard on it until it has me going insane (in a good way).

Endorphinemachine is my absolute favorite song on that album -- and has been from Day One.

Sometimes, when I'm at work and feel like screaming, I put that on repeat and just let Prince do my screaming for me. After the third time through (or so), I feel much better. lol

One thing that has always kind of bugged me about some of Prince's harder rockin' stuff is that it's sort of...I don't know..."pale" on the album version. (Think about how the SNL performance of Fury kicks the ass of the 3121 recording.) Endorphinmachine is a too-rare balls out album performance.

And that scream at 3:06 hits me square in the naughty parts -- and for that reason alone, I must love this song. lol

I've found that Endorphinmachine is one that my friends who are not fans love.

I agree. It's rather difficult to get into. For one thing there is so much going on inside his head. Clearly he was in a state of confusion. Thank God he is no longer there....there is a "sureness" about P today. He is happy with who he is.I am happy for him.Love you P

It was such a great concert opener too!

I remember the Gold Experience tour... They played the Purple Medley
on the TV screens, then you heard Prince over the PA say "Prince is
dead! Long live the New Power Generation!" Then the curtain dropped
and there was Prince playing a rocking version of Endorphinmachine on
the Gold Symbol guitar while travelling to the front of the stage on a
conveyor belt! Brilliant stuff!

I'm not sure if I'd have gotten into him if he was like that these days.

But yeah, I'm very glad for the place he is in now. He seems free-er (if that's a word) and happier... but then again, all I have to go by are interviews & apperances online. I wasn't there for any of it, that's whats great about the Internet

That´s a really cool and wild track.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."
